The Biggest Loser: Couples Episode Recap "Week 6"

After last week's elimination of Joelle and Carla, the Brown team was left feeling pretty lucky, yet again. For the second week in a row, they were in the bottom two, and admitted that they probably would've been sent packing had they been up against anyone other than Silver. So it's time for them to kick it in gear.

At the weigh-in, Purple goes first since they have immunity. Kristin actually gains two pounds, while Cathy loses two, which is pretty upsetting since she just stated her hopes for finally being under 300 pounds. But with a positive attitude as always, Kristin says she won't let it get her down.

Here's how everyone else did:

Helen and Shannon, Pink, lost 5 and 5 for a total of 2.16 percent.

Laura and Tara, Green, lost 3 and 11 for a total of 2.85 percent.

Filipe and Sione, Blue, lost 10 and 11 for a total 3.37 percent.

Blaine and Dane, Black, lost 4 and 5 for a total of 1.41 percent.

Mandi and Aubrey, Yellow, lost 6 and 1 for a total of 1.57 percent.

Mike and Ron, Brown, lost 13 and 5 for a total of 2.59 percent.

After much deliberation, it's time to reveal some votes. Pink goes with sending Dane home, stating that they think he can lose the weight at home. Brown, Green, Blue and Purple go on to vote Blaine out, fulfilling his wish to be the one sent packing. Blaine tells his fellow contestants that he's grateful for the opportunity and better from the few weeks he spent with them.

American Idol Narrows Down The Pool Of Contestants Again

The theatrics behind them, the 72 remaining American Idol hopefuls filed in one by one to sing what they hoped would not be their final solos for the discerning ears of the judges.

But, they didn't have much to say on Tuesday's episode, probably because the performances—and the lyric flubs, meltdowns and flameouts—sang for themselves.

Actually, forgetting the words didn't end up hurting those who had already proved their musical mettle, such as record-label castoff Joanna Pacitti; Stephen Fowler, who even messed up his do-over and just walked off the stage dejectedly; and Casey Carlson, who maybe should have inked the words to "Tattoo" on her hand.

Those three—along with 51 others—still have a shot of making Idol's Top 36.

On the flip side, it was the end of the line for early favorites such as Jason Castro's brother Michael, Leneshe Young, India Morrison and Kaylan Loyd.

It's on with the show, however, for Danny Gokey, Michael Sarver, Lil Rounds, Anne Marie Boskovich, Scott MacIntyre, Adam Lambert, Jackie Tohn, Nathaniel Marshall and Nick Mitchell (aka Norman Gentle),whose hammy rendition of "Georgia on My Mind" had just enough meat in it to keep Mitchell and his alter ego around a bit longer.

And despite the histrionics,Tatiana Del Toro, who apparently knows the words to every song, is still in the mix, as well.

All will learn their fate tonight at the new judges' mansion, where Simon & Co. get to pass judgment in plusher than usual surroundings.

But feel free in the meantime to let us know who's in your Top 36, whether your favorites just got axed or if Tatiana keeps making it because Idol producers want to give the hysterics that result when she is voted off a bigger stage.

The Bachelor: No Rose for Naomi After Hometown Date

Hometown date week on The Bachelor is usually exciting, intense and wacky — and this season’s installment took it even further. Jason Mesnick met a goofy grandma in Canada, parents with past lives and a dead dove in California, and played golf in Michigan. But he didn’t get to meet the folks in Texas because one family refused their 15 minutes of reality TV fame.

In the end, not getting face time with the folks did not mean the end of Mel and Jason. Instead, he did not give a rose to Naomi. Jason walked her out, stopping at the breakup bench to explain, “It is not about any fault that you have. In my heart, I think we’re in different places. [You're] not the right fit for me.” She broke down in the limo, and said, “I don’t care about having a love life at this point. I’m better off on my own. I have no idea where I go from here.”

Chris Brown's Step-Dad Comments On The Rihanna Incident

Chris Brown's former stepfather -- whom the singer has accused of abusing his mother -- is speaking out about Brown's Sunday morning arrest for allegedly assaulting girlfriend Rihanna.

When asked by Access Hollywood if he believed Brown hurt Rihanna, Donnelle Hawkins says, "I wouldn't be surprised."

"He (Chris) has to take responsibility for his own actions." Hawkins adds.

In a 2007 interview with Giant magazine, Brown reveals that, when he was 11, he told his mother he would go to jail for killing his allegedly abusive stepfather.

"He used to hit my mom...He made me terrified all the time, terrified like I had to pee on myself," Brown told Giant. "I remember one night he made her nose bleed. I was crying and thinking, 'I'm just gonna go crazy on him one day...' I hate him to this day."

But Hawkins says the abuse claims are untrue.

"There was a lot of arguing between his mom and I," he says. "I never raised a hand at his mom." "We [Brown's mother and I] argued frequently," Hawkins continued. "As far as physical abuse, there was no physical abuse.

"I spanked Chris one time," he says.

He was mad at his mom for leaving his dad, so I became the scapegoat," Hawkins goes on. "No matter how much I tried to be a father figure, nothing worked."

Chris Brown's Music Pulled From Radio Station

A Cleveland area radio station has pulled Chris Brown's music from its playlists.

Cleveland's music station 96.5 KISS FM announced on their website that they will not play Brown's music on their station until the alleged domestic violence dispute surrounding the singer is resolved.

KISS FM evening host Java Joel pulled Brown's music on Monday after receiving several calls from outraged listeners that wanted the singer's tunes off the airwaves.

"In light of the events with the Chris Brown/Rihanna abuse situation, Java Joel was taking several comments on his evening show Monday, February 9th," Bo Matthews, KISS FM program director says. "His listeners have strong feelings about these unfortunate events…I then made the decision to rid the whole station of Chris Brown songs while this plays out." Matthews added that, "We are fans of Chris Brown's music, and this is not something that will last forever."

The Associated Press reports that radio stations in Indianapolis and Pittsburgh have also pulled Brown's music.

Michelle Obama Graces The Cover Of Vogue

Michelle Obama is making history again – by becoming only the second president's wife to appear on the cover of Vogue magazine.

The newly-minted first lady was photographed by famed shooter Annie Leibovitz at the Hay-Adams Hotel, where the Obamas stayed before the Inauguration.

While nearly every first lady – beginning with Herbert Hoover's wife, Lou, in 1929 – has been photographed for the fashion bible, only Hillary Clinton was featured on the cover, in Dec. 1998, Vogue spokesman Patrick O'Connell tells PEOPLE.

In the March issue of the magazine, Obama is seen wearing a magenta dress by Jason Wu, who designed her inaugural gown, and also pictured in a black dress by designer Narciso Rodriguez.

In the interview, Obama talks about getting used to Washington and her plans for being a first lady – and first mom. "I'm going to try to take [our two daughters] to school every morning – as much as I can," she says. "But there's also a measure of independence. And obviously there will be times I won't be able to drop them off at all. I like to be a presence in my kids' school. I want to know the teacher; I want to know the other parents."

As for why Vogue chose to feature Obama on the cover, the magazine's editor Anna Wintour writes, "Change was the clarion call of Barack Obama's election campaign, though I don't think any of us at Vogue initially realized that would include the difference that was going to be made by First Lady Michelle Obama's wardrobe ... It's inspiring to see our first lady so serene and secure in her personal style."

T.R. Knight and Katherine Heigl Are Leaving Grey's Anatomy

Katherine Heigl and T.R. Knight will soon take off their scrubs for good, their Grey's Anatomy costar confirms.

When Us Weekly asked James Pickens Jr. (a.k.a. Grey's Dr. Richard Webber) on February 7 if Heigl is leaving the medical drama, he said, "Yes, she is." And he continued, "Wherever Katherine goes, I wish her nothing but the best."

Following Heigl, 30, out the door?

Her outspoken BFF, Knight, 35. "He's going too," Pickens told Us at the NAACP Awards luncheon in Beverly Hills. "He just wanted to pursue other career paths."

"He complains to Katherine all the time," a set source has said of Knight (with Heigl). "The energy on set will be much better when he's gone."

Sources close to the actors concur.
"Katherine is ready to move on to the next chapter," says a set source. And Knight is "not shy about telling people" he wants out of his contract, another insider told Us in December.

Dancing With The Stars' Maksim Chmerkovskiy Talks About The Upcoming Seasons Celebrity Dancers

Dancing with the Stars' lineup of Season 8 celebs has been released, and fan-fave pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy finds himself happily hooked up with actress/reality star Denise Richards.

TVGuide.com sat down with Maksim on the set of Good Morning America, where he met Denise for the first time, to get his thoughts on some of this season's other celebs.

TVGuide.com: How does it feel to be back competing on Dancing with the Stars?

Maksim Chmerkovskiy: We're very happy, especially in this economy, that we get a job. It's a little bit of a whirlwind because we literally finished our last day of the tour yesterday, in Philly. Some of the people already flew out to meet their celebrities, and this is my meeting [with Denise]. We start rehearsals [Feb. 10].

TVGuide.com: Did you get to indulge in any pet projects during your time off?

Chmerkovskiy: I didn't have time off. I choreographed the tour, which went to 38 cities, and I was also the dance captain in charge of all the injuries and replacing people... . It was a crazy experience, and a lot of work. But it's fine. I'm 29; I'll relax when I'm 50.

TVGuide.com: How excited are you to be paired with Denise?

Chmerkovskiy: Very. Very. Things are happening up here [in my head], as to what we're going to do for our first dance... . I'm picking up on all the things she's been saying about her flexibility and the Pilates. Most of the things that are difficult for the celebrities are moving their legs and arms in different directions at the same time, to the music.

TVGuide.com: Coordination is important. [Olympic gymnast] Shawn Johnson might have the athleticism and Belinda Carlisle and Lil' Kim may have rhythm, but...

Chmerkovskiy: Lil' Kim is going to be up for a challenge, I think. We'll see. The cast is as diverse as it's ever been. All jokes aside, there are some people that I would probably not want to be paired up with. I lucked out with Denise.

TVGuide.com: What sort of unique challenges face Shawn Johnson, who is just 4-foot-10?

Chmerkovskiy: I actually think her main challenge is that she's so young [age 17] in a big girl's world, so to speak. Her challenge will be to spice things up if the judges say that she's too quiet and calm. But we all saw her at the Olympics — she's amazing and focused and determined. A very hard worker.

TVGuide.com: She could break into a tumbling pass in the middle of a Paso Doble!

Chmerkovskiy: Oh, she could do a cha-cha on her hands! We're kind of guessing that she'll be paired up with Mark [Ballas], and he's crazy with the [choreography].

TVGuide.com: Some are speculating that dancing as a team could be tough on Julianne Hough and Chuck Wicks, her country singer-boyfriend. But I think if DWTS has shown us anything, it's that it cultivates romance. They could come out of this stronger.

Chmerkovskiy: I don't want to start the season with a usual Maks rant, so I'm going to plead the fifth on that pairing!

Leo DeCaprio's Girlfriend Will Be The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition's Cover Girl

The actor's off-again, on-again main squeeze, Bar Refaeli, is next month's Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue cover girl, according to a big ol' billboard in Manhattan.

The 23-year-old Israeli model broke out of the pack after languishing on the inside of the magazine's most buzzed-about installment for the past two years.

SI's cover, featuring Refaeli and her tan lines in a multicolored string bikini next to the tease line "Bikinis or nothing," was first unveiled during Monday's episode of the Late Show With David Letterman, which tapes at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York, right across the street from the revealing billboard.
