EW’s Michael Ausiello reports that “Grey’s Anatomy” has been ordered to end the short romance between Dr. Callie Torres (Sara Ramirez) and Dr. Erica Hahn (Brooke Smith). Smith’s character wasn’t properly written out or given any closure; she just walks to her car in Thursday’s episode and is never seen again, the actress told Ausiello in an interview. Mary McDonnell of “Battlestar Galactica” joins the show Nov. 13 as a heart surgeon, which was also Hahn’s specialty.source
