President-elect Barack Obama's daughters, Sasha and Malia, started their first day of school on Monday.Along with a motorcade of U.S. Secret Service agents, Michelle Obama accompanied the girls to the Sidwell Friends School - which counts Chelsea Clinton as an alum.
Sasha, 7, is in second grade and attending the elementary school campus in Bethesda, Maryland, while Malia, 10, is in fifth grade and attending the Sidwell Friends middle school campus in Washington, DC. (Current tuition: $28,442 for Sasha's elementary school; $29,442 for Malia's middle school.)
