Taking the concert stage for the first time since the controversy over her curves erupted, Jessica Simpson opened up to her fans Thursday night.
"Thank you for your support," she told a Charlottesville, VA, crowd at the end of her set, "Stay positive, and pray out loud! I love you guys, good night."
The buxom blonde crooner -- opening for Rascal Flatts -- sported tight, black leather pants and a V-neck T-shirt.
"Please remember, no matter what you go through in life, somebody else might have it harder," Jessica also told the crowd, "So just appreciate."
"I feel like in our world today we focus on so many things that are completely pointless," she added.

Stars Talk 'New Moon' at 'Push' Premiere
Dakota Fanning, Chris Evans and Djimon Hounsou walked the red carpet Thursday night for the big Hollywood premiere of their action-thriller, 'Push,' and tongues were also wagging over the possibility that Dakota may star in the 'Twilight' sequel, 'New Moon.'
"It would be so neat if it worked out, I'm a really big fan," Dakota says about being a part of 'New Moon.' "It's probably too soon to say for sure, but it would be really cool."
'Twilight' stars Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene said they would really like to work with the young star.
"I hope she does ['New Moon'] she's a brilliant actress," Kellan says -- Ashley adds: "Hopefully she will be involved in the second one. I think she's an amazing little actress."
Former 'War of the Worlds' star Dakota returns to the sci-fi genre on February 6 with 'Push,' delving into the deadly world of psychic espionage in which Dakota's clairvoyant must team up with Chris and his telekinetic powers against Djimon and his shady government agency, The Division -- who is genetically transforming citizens into an army of psychic warriors and brutally disposing of those unwilling to participate.
