Brad Pitt Selling Malibu Home

It makes sense. The Pitt-Jolie clan cruises the globe so much it seems silly to have more than, let's say, half a dozen homes. But selling the Malibu pad? C'mon Brad!
Brad Pitt has quietly put his Malibu bluff estate on the market, for a cool $18 million.
The property includes a glass walled contemporary house perched on the bluff overlooking the ocean, a large swimming pool, a tennis court and A-list neighbors that include Cindy Crawford and Leonardo DiCaprio.
Records show that Brad paid $8,410,000 when he bought the estate in 2005, in the aftermath of his split from ex Jennifer Aniston.
Pitt, 45, Angelina Jolie, 33, and their six kids, will now have to divide their time between the couple's remaining six homes--- Brad's ocean front compound just north of Santa Barbara, his long-time home in L.A.'s Los Feliz area, the Pitt-Jolie pad in New Orleans, Angie's Cambodian hideaway and the 35-bedroom Chateau Miraval estate in rural France.
Oh, and there's the newly purchased 40-plus acre estate in Long Island, NY. Guess something had to pay for the new house!

The family fun continued Sunday when the three took a helicopter ride in Rio de Janeiro.

Why? Well, apparently the character of Leah Clearwater won't appear until after "New Moon."
"I'm not sure about [final] casting, but I had heard Vanessa Hudgens was going up for the part of Leah [Clearwater, a werewolf]," Melissa Rosenberg, who wrote both films, told People at the 61st Annual Directors Guild of America Awards. Jennifer Hudson's Producer From Super Bowl Insisted She Lip-Synch National Anthem

By now, you've probably either read about or seen Jennifer Hudson's amazing rendition of the the National Anthem before Sunday night's Super Bowl.

In her first public performance since her mother mother, brother, and nephew were murdered in October, Hudson delivered a stunning version of the anthem.

But after the game, the show's producer, "American Idol" music director Ricky Minor, told The Associated Press that, at his request, Hudson lip-synched the anthem to a previously recorded track.

"This was such an important performance, because it's the first time everyone has seen Jennifer. But she's in such a great place, with such great spirits, and time can heal her wounds. She's on fire right now and totally grounded," said Minor.

Minor explained that he insisted that both Hudson Faith Hill, who performed "America the Beautiful" before Hudson, sing to the prerecorded tracks the NFL requires them to submit a week before the game.

"That's the right way to do it," Minor said. "There's too many variables to go live. I would never recommend any artist go live, because the slightest glitch would devastate the performance."

Hudson, 27, who has yet to discuss her family tragedy in public, will next appear at the Grammy Awards on February 8.
