The Cruise Family At Disney World

Over the weekend the Cruise family, minus oldest daughter Bella, went to Disney World.

Suri Cruise, dressed in matching princess dresses to Cinderella and Belle, seemed enthralled by the trip, which included meeting Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

Katie, Tom, Suri and Connor also went on Dumbo the Flying Elephant Ride and Tom played paparazzi to his family, as did many onlookers seen in the background.

Taylor Swift: Don't Picture Me Naked!

Taylor Swift: 19 going on 16?

The country music star might have performed at the Grammys and dated a Jonas brother, but she still asserts that she's leading a pretty sheltered life.

In the March issue of Rolling Stone, Swift says she's never had a cigarette or a drop of alcohol and still lives with her parents -- in her childhood bedroom.

As for sex? Don't even ask.

"I feel like whatever you say about whether you do or don't, it makes people picture you naked," she says. "And as much as possible, I'm going to avoid that. It's self-preservation, really."

She added: "I feel like Miley [Cyrus], Selena [Gomez] and Demi [Lovato] are my age," she says. "It's crazy, I always forget that they're 16."

And although Swift admits to at one time being fascinated by celebrities such as Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, she vows never to go down that path.

"When you lose someone's trust, it's lost, and there are a lot of people out there who are counting on me right now," she says. "Rebellion is what you make of it. When you've been on a tour bus for two months straight, and then you get in your car and drive wherever you want, that can feel rebellious."

At the same time, Swift won't say if she's sharing in her Disney pals' pledge to abstain from sex until marriage.

Although the single star has written a song about her breakup with Joe Jonas on her current album, the singer-songwriter hasn't had too many of her own relationships to reference in her music.

"I love love," says Swift, who writes half of such songs about her friends' encounters instead of her own. "I love studying it and watching it. I love thinking about how we treat each other, and the crazy way that one person can feel one thing and another can feel totally different."

John Mayer: Jennifer Aniston Is My Oscar Date

John Mayer is going to the Oscars this Sunday!

"It's my first Oscars," the singer said during an NYC interview Tuesday. "And it's my first being an Oscar boyfriend."

Mayer will likely be joining on-again girlfriend Jennifer Aniston, who's presenting. It'll be the first run-in Aniston has had with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who are both nominated.

"After that night, I have a deal almost signed in blood that says I must go into the studio and finish this record," Mayer continues. "So after Oscar Sunday, Monday morning, I'm invisible."

Mayer says it's his "goal" to not be on blogs for "at least three months.

"That would mean I'm working," he says."So it was great to win some Grammys, but I'm happy to get back to work.

Octo Grandfather to Appear on Oprah

Ed Suleman is opening up to Oprah Winfrey about helping to raise his daughter Nadya's 14 children.

"I can confirm that we are taping an episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show with Ed Suleman," a Harpo rep tells Usmagazine.com. "It is slated to air next Tuesday, February 24."

Ed is divorced from Nadya's mother, but still cares for the children in her three-bedroom, one-bath bungalow in Whittier, Calif. To help support the family (Nadya is unemployed and receives food stamps), he works as a contractor in Iraq.

The Suleman family has been making the press rounds.

Nadya spoke to Us Weekly from her doorstep last Friday before getting an $18 manicure and visiting her eight newborns in the hospital.

"Everything that's out there is lies," she says. "It's very easy to judge other people when they don't know that individual -- and people out there don't know me."

Her mom, Angela, told Us she has an "on and off" relationship with her daughter -- and slammed her daughter for being selfish on the CBS Early Show Wednesday morning.

"I would like her to somehow get enough money to get a house for these babies, but you know...she won't be able to take care of them because then it's up to me, and I would like to start living a little too," Angela said.

Rachel Bilson And Hayden Christensen Are Engaged!

Low-key lovebirds Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen have been especially hush-hush about some big news: They're getting hitched!

"Hayden proposed to Rachel last Christmas while they were at his family's house in Vancouver. He gave her a diamond ring, and she accepted without hesitation!" a friend tells Star.

"Everyone's so excited. Hayden's family adores Rachel — his sisters even helped him pick out the ring."

True to form, the pair, both 27 — who met while shooting the thriller Jumper in late 2006 — plan to tie the knot in a quiet, intimate ceremony, which will likely be held this summer in Vancouver, says the friend.

L.A.-native Rachel "loves it there because it's so laid back. She's a down-to-earth girl — and she's brought out the best in Hayden!"

Michael Johns And Carly Smithson Will Duet On Tonight's American Idol Results Show

Michael Johns and Carly Smithson will perform a duet tonight night during the first results-show telecast of American Idol's season 8 semifinals, Johns confirmed exclusively to EW.com.

The pair, who only got the invitation to sing on Sunday, are still in talks with executive producer Ken Warwick about which number they'll perform.

Johns and Smithson, who finished eighth and sixth, respectively, on season 7 of Idol, had expected to appear this year during the "Hollywood Week" episodes, where they had served as ''Idol boot-camp'' mentors for the current crop of hopefuls; that footage, however, wound up on the editing-room floor. "Ken [Warwick] felt bad about it," explained Johns, and thus, the duet plans were hatched.

Johns said laughingly that he's "just a little" nervous to be taking to the Idol stage and appearing in front of the judges, but is excited by the fact that he'll be able to plug his upcoming debut album, which is slated for an April release, in front of 25 million viewers.

"The thing about Idol is, if you're respectful of it, and you enjoy it, and you're a good ambassador for the show, you're in it for life," says Johns, who made an appearance last Thursday along with Smithson and dozens of other former contestants at the launch of the "American Idol Experience" at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL.

American Idol Recap From Last Night

As always, some blossomed and some disappointed beyond belief as American Idol kicked off the viewers' choice portion of the competition.

Unfortunately for those who tanked, only three of the dozen hopefuls who tried out in front of America for the first time Tuesday get to automatically move into Idol's vaunted Top 12. (Same will go for the next two groups of 12 set to perform over the next two weeks, while the fourth-highest vote getter for each night will compete along with a few judges' picks in a Wild Card sing-off March 5 for entrée into the finals.)

Here's a recap of what we heard last night:

• Jackie Tohn: The audition-round favorite, channeling a biker-chic Minnie Mouse in satin black leggings and a polka-dot tube top, started it all off with Elvis Presley's "A Little Less Conversation." A bit gimmicky, proclaimed Simon Cowellof the performance, which was heavy on entergy and sadly light in terms of vocal prowess. Not to mention, she went first, so only her real fans are going to remember her, for better or for worse.

• Ricky Braddy: The handsome Tennessean, so far flying under the radar this season, can really sing, as evidenced by his textbook take on Donny Hathaway's "A Song for You." But again, he sang so early in the night that it's hard to say whether that was a Top 3 performance.

• Alexis Grace: According to Randy Jackson, season eight really began when Grace, 21, harkened back to a bluesy, jazzy place with Aretha Franklin's "I Never Loved a Man." It had some screechy moments, but overall—quite sexy. And different, which may have been the key tonight.

• Brent Keith: The low-key Ohioan proved he doesn't wanna be a pop star per se by going for the twang with Jason Aldean's "Hicktown." Simon questioned whether he made any impact with that tune, but Keith appeared confident that country fans wouldn't soon forget him. It might help that voters might not want to forget his fresh-scrubbed Midwestern good looks.

• Stevie Wright: So much promise when the 16-year-old who claimed Stevie Nicks as a namesake walked into her Phoenix audition. So much disappointment when she butchered Taylor Swift's "You Belong With Me." Reminder: If it's been on the charts within the last few months, you've got to nail it. Three out of four judges blamed her song choice. Simon told her to be glad she picked up a modicum of experience. Sorry, Stevie.

• Anoop Desai: The very likeable early-round favorite sounded very nice...but again, was he memorable enough to rise above nine others? He gender-bent Monica's "Angel of Mine," so it was interesting, but his Idol future pretty much depends on the bond he's already formed with the fans.

• Casey Carlson: Another one bites the dust. The 20-year-old cutie looked absolutely great—don't worry, Paula made sure to point out how hot she is—but her rendition of the Police's "Every Little Thing [S]he Does Is Magic" was weak sauce. The perfect package the judges once assumed she had just got lost in transit.

• Michael Sarver: "We've heard a lot worse," Simon reasoned after Sarver crooned the Gavin McGraw standard "I Don't Wanna Be." With their similar looks and sounds, we don't see both him and Brent Keith making it through.

• Anne Marie Boskovich: She turned in one crystal-clear tune after another during Hollywood week, but the 22-year-old got a little ahead of herself tonight by going with Aretha's "Natural Woman." She's gorgeous, but she just didn't have the soul.

• Stephen Fowler: Figuring he couldn't have anywhere to go but up after flubbing the lyrics twice during his final Hollywood solo, the 26-year-old musician was sorely disappointed. Simon said that he wished Fowler had forgotten the words to "Rock With You," while Paula pointed out that the '80s standard belongs to Michael Jackson alone.

Tatiana Del Toro: Well, we'll be a barrel of monkeys' uncles. The drama queen was alright, especially when considered alongside some of the night's previous flameouts. We slapped our foreheads when she started in on Whitney Houston's "Saving All My Love for You"—remind us if Whitney has ever been a good idea in this competition—but she managed to power through. And then she didn't say a whole lot afterward, which helped (although the judges tried their best to raise her freak flag).

• Danny Gokey: You would have thought the front-runner's performance of Mariah Carey's "Hero" heralded the Second Coming the way Paula, Randy and Kara DioGuardi carried on. Admittedly, it was the most pleasing performance of the night and he's a near shoo-in for Top 12 status.

Only three—the top guy, the top girl and the next-highest vote getter regardless of sex—will find out that they're safe on Wednesday's live results show, while the fourth-place finisher will have a long time to think about song selection before March 5.

Countdown!! 4 Days Until The Academy Awards!

Will Slumdog Millionaire take home the Best Picture of the year?

Will Robert Downey Jr.'s hilarious role in Tropic Thunder be able to steal the award from Heath Ledger's Joker? (Which seems to be a sure thing at this point in time.) Will Meryl Streep win her first Best Actress Award since Kramer Vs. Kramer?

Does Angelina Jolie have a shot at winning the award? Against Meryl and Kate Winslet in such well-received performances?

How About Brad? Some say his acting was minor compared to the special effects that allowed him to age so amazingly onscreen.

Nancy O'Dell Dishes On Dancing With The Stars Prep

"I don't know if I'm a good dancer or not!" she tells TVGuide.com. "I'm so nervous."

O'Dell, who will release a pregnancy book, Full of Life: Mom-to-Mom Tips I Wish Someone Had Told Me When I Was Pregnant, on April 14, is paired with Tony Dovalani on Season 8 of the ABC hit, which premieres March 9 at 8 pm/ET.

The statuesque blonde took time out of her busy schedule — she's still shooting Access! — to chat about her parquet concerns, who she considers her stiffest competition and why her husband may be sleeping on the couch.

TVGuide.com: I have to tell you that you are currently leading our poll to win Dancing with the Stars.

Nancy O'Dell: I heard that! Oh my God, how crazy is that?! Do these people know that I have no dance training at all?!

TVGuide.com: That's good because they won't call you a ringer then.

O'Dell: That's true. I'm definitely not a ringer. Never took one dance class. Maybe my stepsons are voting over and over. [Laughs] Refresh the page. Vote! Refresh the page. Vote! It was so funny because Access told me first: "Oh my God, you're leading the polls!" They did a story on Access showing your website and I'm like, "Thanks, guys." It adds the pressure even more.

TVGuide.com: But they're all supporting you. I saw Team O'Dell on Access the other night.

O'Dell: Yeah, that was so cute. But I'm already nervous as it is, so you get emotional when you're nervous. So I'm like, "Don't come out here as Team O'Dell. I'm gonna be bawling all over the place." But it made me feel really good.

TVGuide.com: How are rehearsals going?

O'Dell: We had our first rehearsal [last Tuesday]. I feel so lucky. My first dance is the waltz. I'm like, "Ah, I gotta be stiff. Gotta put my arms up. Gotta hold my head up." I know the waltz is romantic and it's long lines, so I think being 5-foot-9-and-three-quarters will help. With heels, I'm 6 feet. And I have really long legs and it's all about the leg lines, so hopefully that will help. Although I'm sure Shawn Johnson is gonna have, like, perfect lines. [Laughs] But it's scary though! There's so much to remember. When you start doing it, you're like, "So that's why they look so awkward at first in those videos that they show." They are!

TVGuide.com: How'd you get involved with the show? Did they approach you? Did you approach them?

O'Dell: What, do you think I'm crazy?! [Laughs] They called my manager and my manager called me. I said, "No! No! That's insane. Absolutely not." I started telling everybody and they were like, "You're crazy if you don't do it!" And my boss was just over the moon: "Great! Oh my God, this would be great for Access Hollywood! We can show behind-the-scenes stuff that no one's seen before. You can tell us how you're feeling. You can do video blogs!" It took everyone in my camp [to convince me]. My husband [encouraged me] too. But he was like, "Don't let the dancer touch you too much!" [Laughs] I'm gonna send [him and Tony] off to play golf together. They can get to know each other a little better.

TVGuide.com: I saw your daughter dancing on Access. Does she know that Mommy is doing the show?

O'Dell: Oh, [she] loves to dance! She's too young [at 20 months] to comprehend, but she does get it when I'm on TV. She goes up to it and goes, "Mama," and she kisses it. And I thought that would be kind of cool. It'll be like her Elmo video. She'll be watching, like, Elmo Mom. Hopefully it won't look like Elmo dancing!

TVGuide.com: You have a book coming out in April about your pregnancy with her. Did you always plan on writing a book?

O'Dell: It came about because I just had so many embarrassing and terrifying things happen to me that I was, like, "Oh my God, for my fellow women, this would be such a great book to have because you shouldn't have to go through this when you're pregnant." I had red dots appearing on my chest one morning and I thought I had chicken pox or the measles and my doctor was like, "Ah, no, the amount of blood in your body increases when you're pregnant and you're just seeing your blood vessels." It's like, Why didn't somebody tell me that?!

TVGuide.com: You're going to have a full plate with book promotion too. What's a typical day like now?

O'Dell: I get up at 6 am, return some emails, do some press. I'm in the [Access] studio by 8, do the show. Normally we don't get out until 1:30, but they're trying to get me out at noon, so that I can go get to rehearsal by 1 or 1:30 and do it for six hours so I could be home by 7 at the latest.

TVGuide.com: What's Tony's assessment of your abilities?

O'Dell: He said he was really pleased. And I keep asking him, "Are you just saying that to build my confidence?" And he said, "I wouldn't do that." To you, it feels so foreign and new and awkward. Some of the stuff that he's had me do, I was surprised I could do them. They were spins and stuff, dragging your feet on the ground, they were fun.

TVGuide.com: What's your worst fear? Falling? Forgetting?

O'Dell: Definitely whether I can dance or not! [Laughs] It sounds so simple, but it's the truth! It's still so early that I still don't know. I think I won't even have an idea until I videotape it and look at it. I feel like I'm doing the moves and I feel like they look somewhat decent?

TVGuide.com: How well do you know the other contestants?

O'Dell: I know Denise [Richards]. I've met a few of the others through Access. Denise and I have been emailing about how nervous we are. ... I saw her at Tori Spelling's party to benefit Ronald McDonald House for Kids and we both had our kids there and I told Denise, "Did you hear I'm doing Dancing too?" And she was like, "Oh my God! Thank God! Are you as stressed as I am?!" And I'm like, "Yup!"

TVGuide.com: Who do you think is your biggest competition?

O'Dell: Oh, by far Shawn Johnson. I mean, her athletic ability — God help her — and the experience of doing something physical in front of so many people under so much pressure has got to help. She's able to hold her leg up for as long as she possibly needs to.

TVGuide.com: Is her height a disadvantage?

O'Dell: With all the advantages she's got from gymnastics, I think they're going to overshadow her height. I mean, maybe for the waltz, it helps to have the height. But for the others, like the quick-step, the Latin dances, I think it won't hurt her at all.

TVGuide.com: Olympians do really well on the show.

O'Dell: I know! They do. It's so funny. Doing the waltz, I told Tony I understand why Apolo [Anton Ohno] did so well because you have to stay low to the ground. It's like speed-skating.

TVGuide.com: Is there anyone you're not as worried about?

O'Dell: You know, I think you just have no clue. Sometimes you think somebody's not going to be a good dancer and they turn out to be a really good dancer, especially football players. My husband said he might have to give a few votes to Lawrence Taylor. He's like, "I have to vote for Lawrence once or twice." I'm like, "NO!" [Laughs]

TVGuide.com: He can't do that. Is he part of Team O'Dell?

O'Dell: That's what I said! That's what I said! He is part of Team O'Dell. I said, "I don't want you to give him votes just because he's a football player. You don't have to go to bed with him at the end of the night. You have to sleep with me at the end of the night!

Rumor Has It That The Cruises Will Not Be At The Oscars Sunday

Perhaps it's because Valkyrie was a box-office dud or because Mad Money was an even bigger disappointment, but it looks like this year's Academy Awards ceremony will be TomKat free.

According to a source close to them, the Hollywood power couple had been planning on attending the Feb. 22 festivities, despite neither of them getting any love from the Academy.

But then in the last couple days "plans changed," says the source adding that it's all a bit of a mystery as to why, since both Tom and Katie are still planning on being in town for the weekend.

Why would they be invited anyway, when neither of them has a nominated movie??

Beyonce And Zac Efron Will Be Among Performers At The Oscars

Host Hugh Jackman won't be the only star singing and dancing at Sunday's Academy Awards.

Several sources say that the Aussie hunk will be joined on stage by Beyoncé, High School Musical stars and real-life couple Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens and Mamma Mia!'s Amanda Seyfried.

Dominic Cooper, Seyfried's costar and rumored boyfriend, will also likely participate, but scheduling conflicts still have to be resolved to make it work.

One source says that Jackman and Beyoncé have been rehearsing at the Baryshnikov Arts Center in New York City.

The entire group begins rehearsals tonight here in Hollywood, according to another source.

The song-and-dance routine is being directed by Jackman's Australia director Baz Luhrmann. No stranger to musicals, Luhrman's credits include Moulin Rouge!, Romeo + Juliet and Strictly Ballroom. Jackman reportedly requested to have Luhrmann stage the Oscar number.

Efron is also expected to present Best Original Song.

No word yet on what they'll singing and dancing to. First-time show producers Laurence Mark and Bill Condon have kept a tight lid on their plans, but have continually stressed that they intend to shake things up on the movie industry's biggest night of the year.

Reps for the stars and the Oscars did not comment.
The 81st annual Academy Awards will telecast live on ABC from Hollywood's Kodak Theatre.
