Could "Slumdog Millionaire" Romance Be Real?

Could the love story of Slumdog Millionaire be coming true in real life for co-stars Dev Patel and Freida Pinto?

Their castmate Anil Kapoor seems to think so, as he revealed to Ryan Seacrest on-air.

“As a matter of fact, when I meet them I feel there is something happening,” he said. “But she says ‘I have to look after him’ and ‘I have to babysit him’ and that kind of stuff… (I think) this is the beginning of something exciting happening.”

Although Dev is a little younger than Freida, at 18 to her 24, Anil is all for the match, especially now that Freida is available after splitting from her fiance last month.

Will Madonna And Her New Man, Jesus, Attend The Oscars Together?

Madonna has a different kind of accessory than diamonds this year — her 22-year old boytoy, Jesus Luz!

“Madonna and Jesus have spent all week planning their outfits for Oscar night,” a pal tells OK!

“Madonna is planning on using the Vanity Fair party to introduce Jesus to the world as her new boyfriend, and she wants everything to be perfect!"

So why all the fuss if Jesus is just a fling? It seems Madge is getting serious about her latest conquest.

"She’ll put to rest any rumor that Jesus was ‘just a model’ during that racy W photo shoot," the source adds. "Madonna and Jesus’ romance is real.”

This is just NOT right---nothing about this "romance" is real. She is 50!! Come ON! And Jesus and Madonna....seriously!!???

Oprah's Interview With The Octuplet's Grandpa To Air Feb. 24th

The father of octuplet mom Nadya Suleman questioned his own daughter's sanity and agreed that she needs major help—financially, at least—during a recent sit-down with Oprah Winfrey.

"That's a very good question," responded Ed Doud, Suleman's dad and a grandfather of 14, when the queen of daytime asked whether his daughter is mentally stable.

"Now I'm no psychiatrist, but I question her mental situation," he said, adding that both his daughter and her fertility doctor were "absolutely irresponsible" to allow her to become that pregnant.

Suleman, 33, who already had six children (three of whom have special needs), gave birth to octuplets Jan. 26 in Bellflower, Calif., after undergoing in vitro fertilization.

Doud told Winfrey he hopes to stay healthy and for his daughter to finish school and start working. "And we all could support this family," he said.

When questioned about the website Suleman set up to solicit donations from the public, Doud agreed that she needs monetary assistance.

"I say to everybody now: People, we do need help. Do not punish my daughter for what she had done and and do not punish the babies, because they were given by God."

Suleman, who has expressed a boatload of confidence in her ability to raise her children despite her current lack of employment and a home that's in preforeclosure, is reportedly receiving $490 a month in food stamps, while three of her older children receive federal supplement security income.

In the interview scheduled to air Feb. 24 on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Doud also discusses what it was like to learn Suleman was expecting at least seven babies and how his family is handling the financial strain and intense public scrutiny that has become the norm for them since the controversial birth.

Robert Pattinson Will Be Presenting At The Academy Awards

Our favorite Brit boy is here in Hollywood!

The Twilight star is going to be presenting at the Academy Awards on Sunday.

So what's he been up to since he got here?

Mr. Pattinson was spotted in Beverly Hills yesterday, followed by dinner at Grey Goose night at the new West Hollywood outpost of London's famed Italian brasserie Cecconi's.

He arrived by himself (how much do we love that he doesn't travel with an entourage?) at about 8:30 p.m. and enjoyed the cicchetti, the eatery's signature plate of Italian tapas. "He ate dinner with friends and hung out in the patio area," a fellow diner reports.

I hear he'll be rehearsing his Oscar gig on Saturday afternoon at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.

Also at Cecconi's were Jimmy Kimmel, Sharon Stone, Gordon Ramsay, Sex and the City's Jason Lewis and Oscar performer Dominic Cooper (Mamma Mia!).

Rihanna's Picture Leak Is Likely Internal---Police Are Investigating

Los Angeles police have opened an internal investigation into who illicitly leaked a closeup photograph of Rihanna's brutalized face purportedly taken after her Feb. 8 altercation with Chris Brown.

"The Los Angeles Police Department takes seriously its duty to maintain the confidentiality of victims of domestic violence," the LAPD said in a statement Thursday. The department has yet to publicly identify Rihanna as the alleged victim in Brown's case.

"A violation of this type is considered serious misconduct, with penalties up to and including termination."

The LAPD says that it immediately launched an investigation after its media relations department was inundated with press inquiries about the picture, which first surfaced on TMZ.com and which appeared to the cops to be a photo taken "during an official domestic violence investigation."

Heath Ledger's Father Will Accept Oscar If Heath Wins

Heath Ledger's dad Kim arrived in L.A. Wednesday ahead of Sunday's Academy Awards.

If his son wins best supporting actor for his role as Joker in The Dark Knight, Kim said, "I may say a few words."

Kim says he's honored by the nomination.

"I'm extremely proud," he said, but cautioned: "You can't expect to win something like this. [The Academy] could just as easily turn left, as [it] could go right."

But attending the show on his behalf of his son, who died last January at age 28 from an accidental drug overdose, is "bittersweet, obviously," he said.

Kim says his extended family flew in from their native Perth, Australia for the Oscars.

"We're all here," he said.

While Kim wouldn't comment if Michelle Williams will be at the awards show, he said "of course" daughter Matilda, 3, would be given the statue "down the line."

But Kim isn't betting on Heath taking the prize. "You can't take anything for granted," Kim said.

American Idol's Danny Gokey Says His Late Wife Would "Just Be So Happy" About His Making It To The Finalists

Danny Gokey, Alexis Grace and Michael Sarver became the the first three Season 8 contestants to make American Idol’s Top 12.

The talented trio faced the press in a conference call. Gokey spoke candidly about his late wife, who died just weeks before his Idol audition, and says she would have been “so happy” to see him on the show.

Grace talked about being a young mom to daughter Ryan Elizabeth and about how she would balance being on Idol with her motherly duties.

Sarver, also a parent to young children, gave Simon Cowell some credit for helping him land a spot in the top 12 and talked about his working-class appeal.

Church music director Gokey, 28, has been an early favorite of both fans and judges, thanks to his soulful voice and heartbreaking personal story. Just four weeks before he auditioned, his wife Sophia passed away. The Milwaukee native said that while he feels more “emotionally stable now,” his wife is never far from his thoughts. “I apologize to everybody if they feel like it’s shoved down in their face but it’s so fresh in my mind. It’s only been 7 months,” he told reporters. “Honestly, this is a sob story I don’t want but it is shaping my life, and it’s causing hope for a lot of people. Now I have my mission set in stone.”

Gokey laughed when asked what his wife would think of his Idol success. “My wife would be telling all her friends, and she would be going to the store, buying clothes and trying to get herself all cute,” he said. “She was spunky and so cute and she had a little attitude to herself. She’d just be so happy.”

Tennessee native Grace, 21, is a young parent and said her daughter Ryan Elizabeth is her Idol inspiration. “She watches the show with all of my family and when I come on TV, she points at it and she screams for me and says, ‘Mommy!’” she said during the conference call. Grace admitted to being nervous about juggling motherhood with the demanding show but said, “it’s only for a little time and as long as I work hard and dedicate myself to it, I know I can get it done because I have the best family in the world and they’re going to help me out with whatever I need.”

If there was a surprise in who advanced Wednesday, it was the oil rig roughneck from Texas, Sarver, 29. Host Ryan Seacrest announced that only 20,000 votes separated Sarver from another popular contestant, Anoop Desai. Sarver admitted that Simon Cowell’s positive feedback following his performance Tuesday likely helped him secure his spot. “Simon making a plea on my behalf, I don’t take that lightly at all. I take that as a compliment,” he said. “I have no doubt it had an impact and I appreciate it.”

Of his working-class appeal, Sarver had this to say: “I believe that real life people can relate to me, especially in the economy and the day that we live. It’s very difficult for a lot of people, and I see it as a chance to see someone rise from the ashes. It’s not that my life is bad but things are tough. And to see someone excel and succeed, I think people relate to that and it’s special to their hearts.”

Sarver is also a father to a two-year-old son and 3 ½-year-old daughter, who he called “smart and ahead of her age. She’s very excited and says she wants to go on American Idol so maybe we have another [Idol] in the future.”
