Julianne Hough Says Boyfriend Chuck Wicks’s Dancing Is ‘Hilarious’

Julianne Hough will have her real-life beau Chuck Wicks right by her side when Dancing with the Stars kicks off again March 9 –- and the dancing pro says her boyfriend is a real hoot on the dancefloor.

“It has been so much fun and really hilarious to see Chuck try to dance,” Hough writes in her MySpace celebrity blog. “Even thinking about it is funny! He is actually doing very well though. I was really surprised!”

Wicks, a country singer, is currently on tour — and Hough has hit the road with him as the two rehearse in between concerts. As she tells it, the experience of touring with her boyfriend while gearing up for DWTS has been a unique experience.

“It has been a little challenging trying to find studios that have mirrors and wood floors on the road,” she writes.

Another challenge? Being surrounded by all the guys on tour.

“I’m on a bus with even more guys than are on my bus, so I’m going a little coo coo (sic),” she writes. “My highlight of today was going to Walgreens and getting a BUNCH of makeup and girly stuff like that just to feel like a girl again.”Hough also clears up one of her fans’ biggest questions in her blog post: She addresses why she is competing this season even though she previously announced she would sit it out to focus on her burgeoning music career.

“It was a last minute deal,” she writes. “I was set on taking this season off and then last minute the show asked me to do it because they had asked Chuck to do it and they thought it would be cool if we danced together.”

“At first I still said no because I wanted to focus on my music,” Hough continues, “BUT then I thought about it for a day and figured this out. I can still write, go on tour and work on Julianne Hough the country singer because Chuck will be my partner and that will be a huge luxury.”

Octo Mom to Lose Her House on March 5

Nadya Suleman could be kicked out of her home in less than two weeks, a source close to the Octo Mom confirms.

The source says that the house is set to be auctioned off on March 5. The Whittier, Calif., residence is actually owned by Suleman's mother, Angela, who has not paid the bungalow's mortgage in 10 months. She owed more than $23,000 in back payments.

Suleman and her 14 children do not have a plan for where they will live once the house is gone, the source says.

The source also confirms that Suleman made up the father's name -- David Solomon -- on her children's birth certificates.

His name is not David Solomon, the source says, adding that Suleman chose the name for its biblical reference and that she and the sperm donor signed an agreement before the birth of the children.

"It was signed a long time ago," the source says. "Only Nadya and the sperm donor know the exact details."

Despite Suleman telling Dateline that she hopes the father would be involved in the parenting, the source maintains that she won't reveal his name.

"She had just had all the babies [at the time of the interview]," the source says. "Her hormones were likely raging, but at this point, it doesn't look like he will ever be involved."

Shed light on the identity of the sperm donor, who helped Suleman conceive her octuplets and her six other children.

The source also says the father is "definitely not" Dennis Beaudoin, the man went on Good Morning America Monday claiming he was the donor in question.

Suleman confirmed exclusively on Sunday that Beaudoin was not the father of any of her children, despite having donated sperm for her in vitro fertilization.

Hilary Duff Defends Her Hockey Player Beau

Hilary Duff stands by her man!

The star said that she defends her boyfriend, New York Islander Mike Comrie, against the "intense fans" at his games.

"I like to sit in the audience, you know I don't sit up in a box or anything, and people started to know that I'm sitting there, and they'll be like 'Mike sucks!' Or [they] try to rile me up," Duff told Rachael Ray on the set of her talk show. "And I'm like, 'Hey, watch it! I'll come up there, you know.'"

She added: "I try to not be that crazy girlfriend."

Although she says hockey spectators are rough on one another, she admitted that she is starting to get into the sport.

"The first couple of games I went to, I'm like, 'These people are nuts,'" she says. "They are, like, so into it. And then, I got really into it once I started learning about the game."

Duff also opened up to Ray about her feud with Faye Dunaway, who asked why the couldn't "cast a real actress" for the updated Bonnie & Clyde film.

"Obviously, it was a little hurtful," she said on the show, which airs Tuesday. "I have always taken the high road when it comes to people talking bad about me, and I'm over it. It's not necessary to have negativity, especially in this day and age."

Octomom Says That Man Appearing On Good Morning America Monday Is NOT The Father Of Her Kids

Nadya Suleman admits that Dennis Beaudoin, who went on Good Morning America Monday, donated sperm for her to undergo in vitro fertilization -- but says he's not the father of any of her 14 children.

"He's not lying. He went to the doctor with me once," Suleman reported from her home Sunday. "It didn't work."

"He's not the father of any," she continued. "He didn't work."

"He was right before the real donor," Suleman said. David Solomon is listed as the father on her first eldest children's birth certificates.

She said the real donor is " a friend of mine" and that there is only "one donor" for all of the children. Suleman didn't deny Solomon was the father during an interview on Friday in which she called him an "amazing friend."

On GMA, Beaudoin -- who dated Suleman for three years in the '90s -- said Suleman claimed she had had ovarian cancer.

But Suleman said, "This is, like, getting from bad to worse. Of course, it is untrue."

Beaudoin claimed Suleman's older children resemble him, and wants them to take a paternity test to prove it.

"Either which way, you know, know that if she needs it, I'll lend a helping hand," he said on GMA.

And The Oscar Goes To.....

Slumdog Millionaire hit the real jackpot tonight.

"As you can see, our film was a collaboration between hundreds of people, and I'm so happy that some of them could be with us here tonight to share this moment," said producer Christian Colson, surrounded by director Danny Boyle and the film's stars, including the six children who played Dev Patel, Freida Pinto and Madhur Mittal at younger ages.

"When we started out, we had no stars, we had no power or muscle, we didn't have enough money, really, to do what we wanted to do," Colson said. "Most of all we had passion and we had belief, and our film shows that if you have those two things, truly anything is possible."
Slumdog was also honored for cinematography, original score, film editing, sound mixing and song, "Jai Ho" by A.R. Rahman and Gulzar. Scribe Simon Beaufoy won Best Adapted Screenplay for transforming the novel by Vikas Swarup.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, which led going into the night with 13 nominations, wound up with just three awards, all in technical categories.

Sean Penn, the other obvious choice for Best Actor, deprived us of another Mickey
Rourke acceptance speech when he won the award for channeling pioneering gay politico Harvey Milk in Milk.
Both Penn and Best Adapted Screenplay winner Dustin Lance Black used their time in the winner's circle to give a voice to a political cause—the recent ban on gay marriage in California.
"I think that it is a good time for those who voted for the ban against gay marriage to sit and reflect and anticipate their great shame, and the shame in their grandchildren's eyes if they continue that way of support," Penn said after cheerfully greeting the crowd as "you commie, homo-loving, sons of guns."

"I did not expect this, but, and I want to be very clear that I do know how hard I make it to appreciate me often," he said, eventually concluding his thank-you list with a shout-out to Rourke, his "brother."

Six-time nominee Kate Winslet, not a sure thing once her role as a tortured former concentration camp guard having an affair with a teenager in The Reader was bumped up to Best Actress status, finally had her moment.
"I'd be lying if I hadn't made a version of this speech before. I was probably 8 years old and staring at the bathroom mirror, and this would have been a shampoo bottle. Well it's not a shampoo bottle now!" Winslet said, becoming steadily more overjoyed as her speech—very eloquent, this time—went on.

Heath Ledger's posthumous awards season culminated with the biggest win of them all, the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. While The Dark Knight director, Christopher Nolan, had been doing most of the honors this year, Ledger's father, mother and one of his sisters were on hand to accept on his behalf.

"Firstly, we'd like to thank the Academy for recognizing our son's amazing work," said Ledger's dad, Kim, whose son died 13 months ago. "Warner Bros. and Christopher Nolan in particular for allowing Heath the creative license to develop and explore this crazy Joker character. This award tonight would have humbly validated Heath's quiet determination to be truly accepted by you all here, his peers, within an industry he so loved. Thank you."
"We have been so truly overwhelmed by the honor and respect being bestowed upon him with this award. Tonight we are choosing to celebrate and be happy for what he has achieved," added mom Sally Bell.

"Heath, we both knew what you had created in the Joker was extraordinarily special and had even talked about being here on this very special day," concluded sister Kate. "We wish you were, but we proudly accept this award on behalf of your beautiful Matilda."

PenĂ©lope Cruz was named Best Supporting Actress for her role as a dangerously sexy—and jealous—ex-wife in Woody Allen's Vicky Cristina Barcelona, the Spanish beauty's first win in two tries and the fifth time Allen has coaxed an Oscar-winning performance from a supporting player.

"It's not going to be 45 seconds. I can say that right now," an instantly emotional Cruz began her speech. "Has anybody ever fainted here? Because I might be the first one. Thank you, Woody, for trusting me with this beautiful character."

Aside from the identity of the presenters in general, one of the surprises kept so carefully under wraps by producers hoping to inject some see-it-to-believe-it pizzazz into the Oscar telecast, which saw viewership sink to an all time low last year, was the gathering of five past winners per acting category to dole out honors to this year's deserving thesps—a touch that helped get the waterworks going for some before they even reached the stage.

Upping the hunk factor in Bardem's absence was a dashing, classic-tux-clad Hugh Jackman—tapped by producers to bring some old-Hollywood glamour back to the show—who kicked the festivities off with a splashy opening number, a regular bit when Billy Crystal hosted, but this time carried off by a Tony-winning singer and dancer who also happens to be the reigning Sexiest Man Alive.

Hence, it was quite charming. It also encouraged Jackman to join Beyoncé for a lengthy tribute to movie musicals (which did, however, give Zak Efron and Vanessa Hudgens a reason for being there) that culminated in a frenzied Riverdance-esque routine to Mamma Mia!'s title song.
Jackman must have saved Baz Luhrmann's life in the bush or something, because the more-annoying-than-anything number was staged by the Australia director.
