So how did the ever-cool singer do on the dad test? Despite being so nervous that he compared it to "auditioning for Dancing with the Stars," he seemed to be a hit.

Jen Garner Gets Permanent Protection

After filing documents detailing a fan's obsessive behavior towards her and her family, Jennifer Garner has obtained a permanent restraining order against Steven Burky, according to TMZ.
The order says that Burky has to stay 100 yeards from Jennifer, husband Ben Affleck, daughter Violet, as well as members of their household, at all times, as well as her home and workplace.
Jennifer says Burky, who has been placed under a 5150 psychiatric hold, has been paying her too much attention since 2002, and has recently become even more of a threat.
"Mr. Burky has been stalking and harassing me," she says in court documents, as well as sending "packages and letters containing delusional and paranoid thoughts and following me around the country..."
The Alias star says that especially in the last year, Burky's obsessive and harassing behavior has escalated to the point of becoming dangerous and threatening," showing up at her home and saying "God has sent him a vision of her being persecuted in some manner that may result in her death."
"I am currently pregnant and fear for the safety of my second child once born," she writes after expressing her worry for husband Ben Affleck and daughter Violet as well.

Christina Aguilera to Open American Music Awards With 6-Song Medley of Hits

Christina Aguilera will open the American Music Awards on November 23 with a seven-minute medley of her greatest hits, Usmagazine.com has learned exclusively.
The opening number will include "Genie in a Bottle," "Fighter", "Beautiful," "Keeps Getting Better" and "Dirrty," a source close to the show tells Us.

Other performers: Miley Cyrus, Kanye West, Alicia Keys, Rihanna as well as Mariah Carey, with whom Aguilera she famously feuded in 2006.
“We are very excited to have Christina Aguilera perform at this year’s show," Dick Clark Productions President Orly Adelson told Us in a statement. "She raises the bar with each live performance and you can expect something special at the 2008 'American Music Awards.'"
This will mark singer's second performance since giving birth to 11-month-old son Max.

Oh my God, I just won America's Next Top Model and I can't believe it!" McKey said after being crowned the reality competition series' eleventh-season champ during last night's finale broadcast on The CW.

"I was not the little girl who said 'I wanna grow up and be a model.' I was very much the tomboy. I was hardcore into soccer, so I got started in modeling when I was 15-years-old and I put all my energy, all my competitiveness into modeling and it's something I've wanted so bad and it just didn't happen," McKey continued. "This was the last thing for me. I was gonna try out for America's Next Top Model and that was going to be it. I made the show and it was the best thing for me. It made me realize that maybe this was something that really can happen."

Julianne Hough is not returning to Dancing with the Stars next season, she told E!'s Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM radio show Thursday. "I'm not going to be back next season," she said. "That's final."
But it's her burgeoning music career — and not her health, she emphasizes — that led her to drop out. "It's because I really, really want to focus on the music and... be taken seriously a little bit, and I think it's hard to be on Dancing with the Stars and be singing and kind of get that confusion, and so I'm really going to focus on the music."
