Jay Leno is moving to prime time on NBC.The network announced Tuesday on the Today show that Leno will host a new variety show at 10 p.m. on weeknights.
Conan O'Brien will become the host of the Tonight show beginning June 1, 2009.
Leno's deal at NBC keeps him from jumping to another network and competing with O'Brien. It will also save NBC money, as variety shows are cheaper to produce than dramas. We all saw how successful Rosie O'Donnel's Variety Show was!
