Julianne Hough's New Love!

It often takes a decade to become a household name — but Julianne Hough did it in a year! Already a fan favorite on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars, the budding country singer released a hit album this year, as well as a collection of holiday songs.

More importantly, the Salt Lake City native has found happiness with her country crooner boyfriend, Chuck Wicks. And though both have settled in Nashville — in separate homes, so
far — Julianne will soon be on the road again, which means plenty of long-distance phone calls; the couple talks 24/7.

“We complement each other well,” says Julianne. “We understand each other’s careers and passions.”

"I’m not getting married, and I don’t have a ring on my finger. Well, I do, but not on my ring finger," she laughs. "Nothing is happening anytime soon. I’m enjoying my relationship, and each step."

Julianne was engaged once before to dancer Zach Wilson, but the engagement was called off in April 2007.

"I’m still close with him," she reveals to OK!. "We actually stayed together [through March 2008] after we called off the engagement. I wasn’t ready to get married. He’s a really great guy, and whoever ends up with him is very lucky."

Her split with Zach has definitely changed the way she looks at relationships, the dancing pro admits.

"I’m not rushing anything, and I’m a lot more secure with myself," she explains. "I definitely like who I am on my own without a boyfriend"

Please -- how stupid does Julianne think her fans are? Again she is trying to push the timeline that will not make her look like a cheater when it comes to Zack. I'm just not buying it.

As long as Julianne uses her personal life to promote herself then she will never be taken seriously.

Good for Julianne. It's about time she stood on her own two feet since she has the talent to make it on her own.

However I would be a little concerned if I was Chuck Wicks. It sounds like he is losing control of his gravy train and he might soon find himself in the same category as the "really great guy" Zack Wilson.

I am biased of course as I truly love Julianne but I am okay with the Chuck Wicks thing except I think he might be just a tad old for her But hey if she is happy and he treats her right then thats okay I guess.

By the way I love this photo, wow, look at those legs.
