Though her nasty divorce has been a definite low note for Madonna as of late, the good news is that she’s still committed to making the world a better place.And in 2007, FOX News reports that the “Ray of Light” singer donated $3.1 million to charity, with most of it going to the Kabbalah Center of Los Angeles.
In addition, Madge also donated $250,000 to Mobilization Against AIDS, and $15,000 to the recording industry’s pet charity the TJ Martell Foundation for Leukemia and Cancer Research.
However, despite the fact that she adopted her son David Banda from Malawi, Madonna didn’t give any money to her charity Raising Malawi, though she may have amended her error with the fundraiser she threw in February this year.
