A woman arrested after the death of Mark Ruffalo's brother has been released after police determined that the gunshot wound that killed hairdresser Scott Ruffalo (right) was self-inflicted.Scott, 39, died Monday after being shot in the head on Dec. 1 at his Beverly Hills condo. Soon after, Shaha Mishaal Adham, 26, the daughter of a wealthy Saudi businessman, turned herself in to the Beverly Hills police. She was released just before midnight Tuesday.
"We expect the coroner's report to show that the shooting was a result of the victim's chronic playing of Russian roulette and his dangerous playing with firearms while under the influence of controlled substances," Adham's lawyer, Ronald Richards, said.
