Natasha Richardson was known for her charitywork, so it's no surprise the actress' organs were donated to those in need after she suffered a fatal epidural hematoma after a skiing accident last week.Liam Neeson and the rest of Natasha's family made the decision to donate her organs to waiting transplant patients, insiders tell the New York Post.
"Doctors spent six hours harvesting all her organs," said a source. "Some patient is going to wake up in the recovery room and start reciting Shakespeare."
The Broadway star suffered a severe head injury after while learning to ski in Canada on March 16. Doctors later determined she was brain-dead and she was flown to New York so that family and friends could say goodbye.
