President Obama will break from the halls of Washington Thursday to sit down with Jay Leno on The Tonight Show.
The president plans to discuss the economy, White House officials told the New York Times, during a trip to Southern California. His will be the first-ever interview with a president on a late night show.
When asked if Obama would be funny, an official promised he'd be "[a]s funny as the times allow."

Obama's doing a lot of unusual things... not attending some events other presidents always go to, appearing on the Today Show... one thing for sure, I definitely won't miss that interview!
