'Biggest Loser' Contestant Charged

CENTERLINE, Mich. -- A suburban Detroit contestant on the NBC show "The Biggest Loser" was charged with domestic violence Tuesday.

Shanon Thomas, 30, is accused of throwing flour in her tenant's face.

"I'm really a good upstanding person. I can't believe this is even happening to me," Thomas told 37th District Visiting Judge Sherman Faunce.

The Macomb Daily reported Michael Nolden, who lived in Thomas' basement, told police Thomas yelled at him to turn his television down, grabbed a bag of flour and threw some in his face, getting into his eyes.

Nolden called police and when officers showed up they noticed there was flour on the floor and couch, according to police reports.

Thomas told the judge Nolden attempted to throw a pan at her.

A not guilty plea was entered on her behalf.

Thomas was arrested in Royal Oak in 2004 on suspicion of drunken driving and later pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated.

Thomas is a massage therapist. She and her mother, Helen Phillips of Sterling Heights, are one of 11 couple teams on "The Biggest Loser." The seventh season premiered Tuesday night on WDIV where Thomas was sent home.

Thomas could get three months in jail if she is convicted.

Carrie Underwood Nervous About People's Choice

She survived Simon Cowell and American Idol three years ago. She's proved her staying power with two hit albums. Yet being up against Rihanna and Taylor Swift at Wednesday's People's Choice Awards is giving Carrie Underwood the shakes.

"They're both so big, and there's great competition. I'm nervous and so excited at the same time," she reports of being up for favorite female singer and favorite country song.

Underwood, 25, is also hitting the stage to perform her ballad, "I Know You Won't," complete with a full orchestra. "It's a really emotional song about a guy who just won't call. We've all had that happen, right?"

Living up to her fashionista image, the country singer will be donning three different brightly colored gowns at Wednesday's show, to air live on CBS at 9 p.m. ET. "When I was trying things on the neon colors made me happy," she says of her dresses by George Chakra, Zuhair Murad, and Naeem Kahn.

In a special collaboration to mark both PEOPLE Magazine and the People's Choice Awards' 35th birthdays, a special award will be given to the Favorite Star Under 35.

But win or lose, it's all about the fans. "It means so much that the fans are still supporting me and that I had fans before I even had a career," says Underwood. "They've been there with me the whole time."

Rob Pattinson and a Bevy of Beautiful Vampires

Robert Pattinson will be back, and so will Kristen Stewart.

And we're happy to report that it was just announced this afternoon that Taylor Lautner will be coming back, too.

We're talking, of course, about New Moon, the OMG-cannot-wait-for-it sequel to Twilight. And we just got some fresh info on the new blood that director Chris Weitz is on the prowl for...

We got our hands on a casting breakdown for the movie. According to the document, Weitz & Co. are looking for at least six people to play Quileute Indians, all of whom eventually morph into wolves.

As well, while shooting is set to begin in March in Vancouver, they'll also be filming in Italy.

Yup, Weitz & Co. are looking for Italian vampires: five men and two women. No surprise really, but all of them are described as being, among other things, "beautiful," "handsome" and/or "elegant."

Latest rumors to hit the Internet buzz that Disney stars Vanessa Hudgens and Brenda Song are being considered for roles.

We've got no confirmation on that (reps for both say they've heard nothing of the sort), but it's got us thinking about who might be next in the rumor mill—Selena Gomez, maybe?

Circus -- Spears' sixth studio album -- dropped on Dec. 2, her 27th birthday. It sold more than 505,000 copies in its first week of release.

Spears is set to kick off a world tour March 3 in her home state of Louisiana.

Tori Spelling to Return to 90210

Tori Spelling might find herself in a familiar zip code soon.

The star is in final negotiations to reprise her role as Donna Martin in the new version of the '90s hit show 90210, according to Entertainment Tonight.

This isn't the first time Spelling has been rumored to return to the teen drama. In August, Spelling reportedly pulled out after learning Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty had been offered higher salaries.

If the deal goes through this time, fellow Beverly Hills, 90210 alum Jason Priestley will direct Spelling's debut episode, which is slated to shoot at the end of January, TV Guide says.

Spelling -- whose late father Aaron created and produced the original series -- has had two children with her husband Dean McDermott since leaving the show: Liam, 22 months, and Stella, 7 months.

Robert Pattinson Has a Billion Reasons to Bail

Robert Pattinson certainly has his priorities straight.

The Twilight megahunk has dropped out of Parts Per Billion, the independent film he was supposed to begin shooting in Los Angeles this month, to ready himself for round two as vampiric heartthrob Edward Cullen.

"Unfortunately, the prep time and production schedule on New Moon haven't left enough time for Robert to work on Parts Per Billion in the first quarter of this year," the star's agent, Nicholas Frenkel, told MTV.

No word yet on who will fill the heartthrob's shoes on the indie flick, produced by and starring Rosario Dawson. Pattinson was supposed to have some hot and heavy love scenes with actress Olivia Thirlby (Juno), but fans may have to wait for that heat until the fourth Twilight film. Until then, though, the actor has Little Ashes and How to Be coming down the pipeline.
