The nominations for the 51st Annual Grammy Awards were announced Wednesday during a primetime TV special featuring performances by Christina Aguilera, John Mayer and Mariah Carey.The show, which was broadcast live from the Nokia Theatre L.A., also celebrated the official opening of the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, which opens to the public on Dec. 6.
The actual awards show will take place Feb. 8 at the Los Angeles' Staples Center. The live broadcast will air on CBS.
