Sandra Bullock has signed on to star in a football movie based on the real-life story of an underprivileged teen who goes on to become one of the nation's most sought after players.
In 'Blindside,' Bullock will play the woman whose well-to-do family takes in football player Michael Oher, who was escaping a past of foster homes and being on the streets, according to Variety. Oher is widely expected to be a top pick in this year's NFL Draft.
The film -- based on the book The Blind Side: Evolution of the Game," by Michael Lewis -- is being produced by 'Marley & Me''s Gil Netter for Warner Bros.-based Alcon Entertainment, Variety says.
